Hair bleaching black to blonde..help!?

Well I added some blonde chunks..i bleached my hair 5 times but with the wrong developer..used 20 volume......so my hair was orange, then i clued in and grabbed 40 volume and did it again...it lightened A LITtle..I figured with 409 vol developer on orange hair it would go white..how many times do I have to do it!?!?!? and I know I now need to wait longer to re-bleach bc the 40 vol is strong
